Olubukunola Oyedele
Director of Systems, Epidemiology, and Education
Olubukunola Oyedele, PhD is a public health researcher with over 10 years of experience in
Epidemiology, Public Health Education, Project Management and Mental Health research.
She is currently the Director of Systems, Epidemiology, and Education at 54gene where she
oversees a team responsible for the collection, analysis, visualization, management and sharing
of phenotypic and clinical data. Dr. Oyedele has also worked with public agencies including The
Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey and the Houston, New York City and New
Jersey Department of Health.
She is a proud graduate of UMICH-Dearborn where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree. She
obtained her MPH from the University of Toledo and PhD in Public Health from Rutgers
University. In her spare time, Dr. Oyedele is a youth mentor and soon to be podcast host of The
World Without People.
