Leslie Alessandro joined the People & Culture Team, as a Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition & Diversity, Equity, Inclusion. Leslie works across Acceleration’s community of companies, providing recruitment, talent acquisition, and DEI leadership.
Leslie has over 12 years of experience recruiting in the tech, creative agency, and non-profit spaces. Prior to joining Acceleration, she was the Sr. Talent Acquisition Lead for Wondros, a strategic creative agency. She served on two DEI committees, providing a monthly Lunch & Learn series with guest speakers and worked on the internship program that provided on the job learning experience to underserved college students. Most recently, she was one of two DEI guest speakers on the topic of Leading Diverse Teams: Positioning Everyone for Success, an event presented by the Association of Fundraising Professionals and sponsored by Bloomerang.
Leslie is a graduate of Woodbury University with a BS degree in Marketing and Finance. She also holds a professional certificate in Human Resources Management from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
Fun fact: Leslie is the owner of a 15k digital music collection that spans 60’s- mid 2000’s Verve, pop, rock, Latin and hip-hop.
